Re-platforming my blog

It's been another long time since I posted! Part of the reason is that my old setup for my blog was a bit complicated and difficult to do unless I sat at my computer for a while resizing images, hand writing code and deploying it, as I was using a static site generator.

Because I want to be able to post from my phone (especially when I am traveling), I decided it was time to change to a CMS platform so I can post remotely, easily upload photos etc.

This is still a work in progress, so you might notice some things look a little strange until I get around to fixing them! In the meantime, there are some new features!

• You can now subscribe properly to my blog, and I can send out little newsletters updating you of new posts (and you can easily unsubscribe if you don't want these emails anymore lol).
• If you subscribe, you can now leave comments on my posts!

If you still want to get updates when I post, please re-subscribe on my site. I won't be using my old mailing list method anymore.

I'll be going on a Japan trip soon, and I'm hoping to post on here in lieu of posting on Insta like I have in the past, so stay tuned!
